Quite frightening !

I think the comment about the charges being disproportinate if you just slip into the red for a few days is important. Therefore one good thing that has come out of the campaign is the text alerts that some banks have brought in. If that could be combined with at least a couple of days leeway before you are charged that would be useful.

Also one of my bugbears is still the time it takes to transfer money between accounts when we all know the money is earning interest for the banks - while as far as we are concerned it has disappeared into a black hole.
