That is very true Nats, unfortunately we need the T&Cs from account opening to cover the issues raised in the Berwick v Lloyds case.

              Have you noticed this:

              http://www.legal-beagles.co.uk/forum....html#post5636
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

The likelyhood is that the answer is yes but not at the branch, there are two options on this one, original T&C's or T&C's from prior to changes in the current ones, ie pre february 2007. The charges are penalties.

I can't see why the bank would have any issue with supplying the original T&Cs, I mean it's not as if they are commercially sensitive is it?

In the meantime, Veilside have you seen Leaflet RBSI1206 0611/1768

It is the leaflet that was sent out last year detailing all the wording changes to Natwest T&Cs. VERY HELPFUL

Now how and where can I post it? Let me experiment, if not successful, I'll email it to you.

those changes came into force from February 2007, i have a copy of them on me now.

edit: the fees brochure date december 2006 still referred to paid referral as an informal overdraft request, so t and c's prior to that would be useful i would think

THE WAY FORWARD ON THESE CLAIMS, IS TO STAY POSITIVE, FOCUSED AND PATIENT, AND ALWAYS, ALWAYS BELIEVE ITS WORTH THE EFFORT, BECAUSE IT TRULY IS. WHY CHOOSE THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE WHEN THERES NOTHING TO LEARN FROM THAT. THINK OF CLAIMING AS A PERSONAL CHALLENGE AND GIVE IT YOUR ALL.
