  • WendyB - v - Natwest ***WON***

    Hi everyone

just joined up today following some friends who are already here and pointed me in the right direction..

Am part way through a claim against Natwest, have done Prelim and LBA but unfortunatley can't afford to file at court so just going to have to wait it out to see if they pay up in their smarty alec "we've got 8 weeks to sort it out" timescale or not. Should recieve offer letter by 19th June, so they tell me. Yeah right I'll believe that when I see it lol.

Have done prelim on 2nd account, almost time to send LBA on that, nuttywest's timescale on that on is 19th July.

    Hi Wendy

How much is your total claim for?

I'm sketchy on the details but I'm sure you can get exemption from fees even if you're not on benefits. Hmmmm, now where was that info??

Leave it with me, I'll dig something out.

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Thanks Celestine, I'll have a look at that.

Claim is just over £1000 on 1st account, 700 ish on 2nd account, but that ones only just getting to LBA stage.

I don't think I'd be exempt but might try it if they don't pay up soon, although they've only got 2 weeks of their 8 weeks left so will have to see what happens then. Am going on hols 3 weeks time so I hope they cough up cos otherwise we've got nothing to pay for the apartments with and no spens....but at least flights already paid for so we could always get there then sleep on the beach i suppose! lol

Just got off the phone to Boringwood, nice helpful girl (she sounded about 12) says they haven't validated my claim yet, but are working within their 8 weeks timescale so should get offer by 19th June. Just realised thats only just over a week away!! Not gonna hold my breath, and have told her I'll try not to phone again till about next Wednesday!!
have also got another number which is apparently only to be used once have actually had an offer. That one is 0845 303 0442.

Have been catching up on your thread Fendy,,,onwards and upwards!!!

They wouldn't tell me how much for, so phoned Borehamwood (got straqight through, less than a minute!). Lovely lovely lovely Louise told me that offer is for the full amount claimed.

don't want to jump the gun with an all out celebration just yet, but does sound as though the end may in sight for you
