Lloyds Default statute barred.

Hi,

I have a default from Lloyds placed in August 2008, the last activity on the account was November 2007 and the account first went into difficulty in July 2007.
Initially it was an interest free student overdraft which they then added around £250 a month for 6 months in charges before finally closing the account. Does anybody have any ideas as to have I may get this default removed before next August, it is statute barred this month.

if defaults lie on file for 6 years why would they remove it?

I've heard of goodwill removals once they are statute barred, also possible routes via how long they took to place the default and their charges without which a default may not have been placed.

If they placed default august 2008 it isnt statute barred until august 2014 they dont have to backdate default to july 2007 im afraid you have no grounds for removal you can try hardsh

im really talking about default will stay on credit file for 6 years after default notice issued sorry if confused anyone
