Yesterday a standing order was taken out of my Santander savings bank account that was not set up by my self for £1475.25. the fraud team froze all my accounts whilst investigating it, they had a copy of the mandate and it was a keying error from the bank, they have not yet refunded the money as they said they would and although they said they have un frozen my accounts it still hasn't gone through and my account are still frozen. I am stunned that a member of Santander can key in a mandate standing order and not check it and put it against my saving account without my authorisation or even notifying me, the standing order was for another one of Santander's customers and should never have been applied against my account. I have complained to customer services . they have sent me a text say the ref number of the complaint and that the complaint has been submitted and then two minutes after a text saying my complaint has been dealt with and a letter will be sent to me. have can within two minutes of the complaint being logged can they investigate it, resolve it and send me a letter. I am appalled by how I have been treated and Santander are clearly not interested.
Please can you advise me on how I take this further I feel this very serious and a clear breach of there security procedures that this error happened in the first place
