Hi all, Wrote to my bank (Santander Bank) asking why they have paid a direct debit to Creation when I asked them not to, I have no agreement with Creation to do this, they had already refunded one payment. To my utter shock got an email from them stating "if you have a query in regards to your direct debit, you will need to speak directly to the company" What about the direct Debit Guarantee. I also asked for a copy of the mandate from Creation. They never even mentioned this in their email to me. Any advice appreciated. :tinysmile_hmm_t2:

Re: Did not give Cration permmison to DD my account.
Personally I would suggest an email to the OFT regareding this mob.
Me and Mr R are fighting them atm as they refused payments for over 5 months, blamed us and put 200 on the debt in "fines".
we are fighting them tooth and nail, getting up to 14 phonecalls a week and they will blatently ignore all correspondence.
its time they got a boot in the part the plonk!

Santander are known for trying to wriggle out of the DD guarantee by fobbing you off to the payee. Did Creation set up a DD mandate without your authority? If they did, this may amount to Obtaining a Fraudulent Money Transfer, now Fraud by False Misrepresentation. Try and get details of the DD mandate Creation used to extract money from your account from Santander, then come back onto this thread and we will see what further help you need.Life is a journey on which we all travel, sometimes together, but never alone.

Hi all, Just had phone call from Santander, they have not got copy off DD, they say they acted on an electronic request for DD FROM Creation. This is mad, putting in a SAR also reporting to the POLICE.
Any more advice appreciated.
