  • Hsbc taking me to court

    I have been out of work since june 2011

    i have been in money dificulty since then, i owe two bank loans to HSBC and have been unable to pay them

    I recieved a demand letter for the overdraft amount which i was unable to pay, and i have also recieved a final demnd for the full amount of both loans two months ago..

    I told the bank the situation when i came out of work, i went in to the managers office and cancelled all my direct debits , i have recieved no help and the bank kept ringing me from india and the philapenes, i was cohersing with england team and thats what i told them.

      Had the same in 2008 despite offering to put home against debt and sell as there was lots of equity they would nit help took a ccj on me then a charge on the house which was repossed with no equity and money owing on mortgage they got nothing if when i offered they took a chance they would have got it all and the other 40k i owed them still as a taxpayer i bailed out other banks which i expect didnt harm HSBC

        Depending on what the loans were for, as there is specific help for certain types of loan, are you a homeowner? if you are and your claiming benefits then it might be a good idea to contact your local council and they can help pay the interest only on your mortgage again depending on what type of mortgage you have, see below link
