barclays bank,no signiture contract can be found,

hello friends,
need some advice if possible,i asked barclays bank for my signiture on my contract,got a letter back stating they cannot find it,but still should pay them.they have passed my info on to debt collection agencys, now what do i do next,is their a follow up notice to them,stating the acoount is now ended due to the fact they dont have my contract.lookforward to your feedback many thanks. lawrence

hello mate, i am trying to sort this out for a friend,it was a credit card,but last year i done this and recieved a blank contract,nothing on it at all.i sent a letter for a default but they ignored that.
