Yes you can change banks even if you have been with them two years. You would be credit checked for an overdraft so check what each bank does firstly with regards to overdrafts and charges even if you are within an authorised overdraft. Personally, I still have a natwest account but I do not use them for my main banking, thank god!!

As you know, Bill, the ongoing problem with HBOS may be a factor here because they have, no doubt, trashed my credit file.
