OK - I finally gave it a proper check, and it all adds up OK, figures-wise.
There is a problem, though, I think. You appear to have put the monthly overdraft interest charged in, as well as the penalties, and this is not fully reclaimable.
The columns on the right-hand side of the sheet are for this, as only portion of the debited interest which was directly attributable to penalties is reclaimable, and the right-hand columns calculate this.
I'll send you back a sheet with the interest put in the right columns, but you will have to fill in the balance and interest free O/D columns.
Hope I've helped !!

Re: Zena v Abbey
Right scrap above - am not going anywhere near CI on a bank account.
Have redone my spreadsheet again!!! Thanks to Bud Lites easy one to use.
Ok the charges on this is 1,666.26 plus interest of £1,233.89 (8%)
Only going to resubmit a LBA for 7 days only, then will file a claim.
Obviously got the limitations angle to argue.
Can this thread be moved to Abbey Forum please.Last edited by Xena; 5th February 2008, 10:08:AM.
