    26th feb 2007.

    Let the fun begin.
well i sent my letter off asking for the statments on the 16th feb, still no word back of shabbey. so i rang them this morning and explained that i have sent my letter, and cheque off by recorded delivery and i have not heard anything and my cheque has not been cashed.
spoke to a very nice young man who has now ordered them for me and said i will receive most of them in 5-7 days and the rest could take up to 6 weeks. i did not have to pay that abbey will ask me later how i want to pay???????.
do i go by my recorded delivery date or todays date.
    thanks

Hi mistie, when I got to this stage, Abbey tried to make a Gesture of good will offer, and offered approx 50% of the outstanding amount, stick with the program, get your law pack in very early (as soon as you get a court date), you will get a cheque from Ashurst's alot quicker if you get it in early, stick in there and you will get the lot. I andloads others have.
                see you in chat

They cannot pass it over to a DCA if it's in dispute, but they can add further charges.

I think you know what to do Mistie....

In their goodwill gesture letter you mean?

Or have you had a full offer?
