In short: Be very very WARY!!!
Goverment schemes will NEVER cold call you. It's much more likely it's company (maybe not to reputable) touting for business who has got your name and phone mumber from another source!

It's also worth pointing out that the link is just one of many free debt advice services out there, the better known ones being CAB, CCCS, Payplan, National Debtline and many, many more.

There is also this forum where you will be able to access some excellent advice.
