Finding a new (safe) Bank Account

I needed to find a new bank provider. Have been with Natwest ) for donkey’s years (don’t even start me on them)

I found this link when I was researching finding a new bank account. I realized that I had to find a bank that was not (currently) related to Natwest


Personally I found this info very helpful as it helped me to arrange a basic bank account (with a new provider) and this that meant Natwest could not ‘Pickpocket’ my meagre resources.

Basically the document highlights bank to relationships. Meaning you can avoid choosing a new bank that won’t be able to dip in and out, without any notice into to your account Hope it helps, even if it’s just one person. Cheers

Have you managed to find a new bank account yet?

If you read in the Announcements section, you'll see there is a thread about a new documentary series on debt, bank accounts etc.

The production company is looking to film someone going to different bank accounts trying to open a basic safe account. Are you interested?!

I do have a bank account now. It's a co-op Cashminder Account. Perfect for my needs.

I keep looking at the posts re the the TV programme. I would love to participate. However, I don't have the courage to do anything like that. I even detest even having a photo taken.

If I can help in any other way or form , then please give me a shout.

If you need any written case info re how bad and totally out of control almost all the DCa's are I have many, many personal instances as to how they break the law and that they do this because they can!! As they think that they are above the law!!

I still spend an enormous amount of my time 'firefighting' these people. I intend to make a super complaint to my local MP. I generally have good succsess using this method and will give updates as and when.
