Re: HSBC and Metropolitan Collection Services
Just a couple of issues 1) £30,000 on 9 credit cards ( was about £68,000 around 5 years ago !!!) 2) Very little income from being self Employed due to credit crunch !!!
Thought i was going to solve my problems by borrowing from my sister and then do reduced full and final settlement offers. But my 'prudent shes got plenty of money' sister it turns out has massive mortgage on her place plus big loan......hence she is more in debt than me !!!!!
But then i found this site, I feel today like a whole weight has been lifted off my shoulders, have spent the weekend writing loads of letters, SAR, PPI reclaim, bank charge reclaim and numerous accounts in dispute. Total 23 letters in post this morning!!!!

Ask any questions as they arise, you will find them helpful on here, try to start your own forum per subject, easier for others to follow etc, and uploading of documents pls make sure no personal details/barcodes etc.,!

Re: HSBC and Metropolitan Collection Services
Word of warning Metropolitan Collections are HSBC in house collections, defaulted on my HSBC Loan about 4 years ago, HSBC Bombarded me with calls sometimes upto 5 times a day, I started making payments to them via the CCCS, then they transferred the loan to Metropolitan and they were fine all the call stopped and letters paid them for about a year then I got a letter from HSBC to say they had sold the debt to Hillesdene Securities also got another letter from Hillsdene to say they had bought the debt, (letters were the same word for word?) then February 2010 got a letter from Hillesdene to say that I had 21 days to make full payment on the debt otherwise taking me to court to put a charging order on my home, however thanks to sites like these I asked them for the CCA because without the signed original CCA they cannot enforce in Court, they have failed so far to produce this, I get a letter every six weeks from Hilldene telling me they are still waiting for the information from the HSBC
