    hi Mods and ALL members First time posting!
    feel free to move if im posting in the wrong place.
    Does anybody here have a template letter for the unfair terms Act (not consumer one) and or the Misrepresentation Act.
    I have read (although i cant think where) that personal guarantees are UNENFORCABLE IF you can prove under the Misrepresenation Act that you was misrepresented by the bank. AND/OR you believe the term or loan to be Unfair because of ........

        What? The text of what is there is what I was talking about NOT using that site or any tools within that site. Are you saying you cannot read the text and the case law?

              There are lots of precedents and case law regarding Personal Guarantees, and you should not take it for granted you have a case.

              My Dad had bother with a guarantee recently, we fought it doggedly for 3 years. In the end faced with litigation we had to employ a lawyer, it cost us around £3k in legal fees and have resulted in the case being dropped before court. But this was due to exceptional circumstances which i wont go into at this point.

              You might have to go down the same route because these things are usually bullet proof
