I have come out of work and with the stress, one thing and another I have run up an overdraft of £1,808..and I am not in a position to pay back in one go...
With the stuff going in my life on I have, stupidly maybe, ignored the
numerous almost hourly phone calls, even going so far as to put the NatWest number on me BT "Choose to Refuse" list as it really was a constant bombardment.
Now the Overdraft is in my name, my account, solely my personal bank account.
I was astonished today when my father rang me and said he'd had received a letter from NatWest as regards a Trust Account set up for my mentally handicap sister.
I am one of three signatories on this old account, which does have funds in it, and any two of three...Dad, Me and Brother... need to sign to make withdrawals.
They were apparantly threatening to take the monies out of this Trust account to clear down my overdraft, without any express permission, and certainly without the two signatories required...any absolutely without any offset rights that I am aware of..
Now in writing to my father they have also disclosed my balance to him, my information...
Firstly, can they willynilly just transfer monies about like that, and secondly what can I do about them writing to my Dad about my finances??
