HSBC overdraft removals no reason given

Just found out from O.H. that her overdraft facility was removed last year, she asked them why no obvious reason given?

hi

hsbc will be vague using terms like responsible lending, current account regular review. They also do this sometimes if you asked them to increase it, applied for a credit card or a loan etc.

they also dont like it if theres a reduction of the amount being paid into the account.
