please could someone tell me if i can claim bank charges AFTER the bank has closed my account and i can no longer use that account

thankyou amy..i can now send one to cumberland building society asking for my charges back off them ...i coppied and sent a letter off this site today to barclays requesting all my charges back, i sent it to barclaycard customer services northampton was that the right address
