  • Chris v natwest

    Hi everyone
I would really appreciate some help here guys. I sent out a SAR request for three natwest accounts (Current account, Credit card, and 1 loan) on the 29/7/2009 paid via postal order £10.
Yesterday I received duplicate statements for my current acount going back six years. Do I wait now for the SAR information to arrive? Or should I carry on with the next stage of my claim? Natwest have passed the credit card account over to westcott for collection.

    thanks Chris

If you sent a full SAR then you should expect all your information to be provided to you and not merely a set of duplicate statements.

A reminder letter would probably be in order and certainly would not do any harm, particularly as they have plenty of time left in which to comply.

Chris, you should have a reference number on the letter they sent with it. Send another letter quoting the reference number and be very specific as to the information you want. Tell them that you require statements going back to July 2001 plus the additional information. They initially sent me a letter in response to one I did which said did I want statements so I specified what I wanted.
They will supply it if you state that.
