This months statement query.

I just received my Abbey bank statement, 22nd April to the 21st May 2009. I noticed that the bank is charging me 2 x £35.00 for two unpaid direct debits which occured in December 2008. I was wondering if its normal practice for bank to leave it 4 months before taking the money from your account.

I would actually call them and ask on the basis you have said.
