Santander have not upheld my complaint. They still saying a Company can tell the bank to re intsate the DD without either of them needing my authority. I know they are wrong. You know they are wrong. This ain't over.

A senior complaints manager called me and said "When we get a mandate from an organisation to reinstate a cancelled direct debit we just do it without question. It is the bank customers responsibility to spot it and then try to claim a refund" He also said "Its company practice to do this."I said what if the bank customer doesn't spot it. He basically said that just the way we work, tough. Case continues. And up to now I have had three final response letters. All different replies but my main gripe stays the same answer.I blame ant & dec
