I’ve had a current account for several years but recently Received a form from my bank out of the blue asking me to provide 8pages of info eg, source of income, inheritance, employment, pensions etc etc. The only reason I’ve been given is that this is needed for legal and regulatory reasons. They haven’t said that the form must be completed, by what date or what happens if I don’t complete it. lm minded to ignore it has they haven’t given a good reason for why I should complete it. If l received such a request from my gas or phone supplier without any justification l would’ve have thought it out of order and don’t see why it’s much different Coming from a bank. Has this happened with anyone else and has anyone any advice they can offer re this? Thank you
Received form from bank asking me to provide tons of info
