You were very very lucky before. It is not always someone else's fault and small claims are not always the way to seek redress.

By the way, is this the same coop bank account you were asking questions about in 2014?

I cannot see that you have any cause of action.
I do not see where you have a claim.
They implemented the terms and conditions of the agreement.
As Warwick says let it be, put it behind you

We may or may not be"legally trained" but suggest you refer to Terms of use of this site, especially section ( Disclaimers wherein it is stated:

"We do not provide legal advice on our site and nothing on our site (including but not limited to User Content) shall be construed as legal advice.

All content on our site (including but not limited to User Content) is provided for general information only without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. It is not intended to amount to advice (of any nature) upon which you should rely. You must obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action on the basis of the content on our site"

Now if you still want to initiate a court action against the Co-op Bank, that is your decision, but it is not a course we would recommend.
