I have to say these last few months have been a turbulent time for those within the markets. LloydsTSB taking over HBoS which means employees of HBoS being worried that the hard work they have put in will be undone if they are sacked. The stock market turbulence has been horrific and at times, I have wondered whether retail banking ie branches would potentially get partially pushed. I have to keep the mantra long term not short term but blimey I am not sure I like this ride! Just one banker's opinion.
