  • No Win No Fee(contradiction)

I have been doing some research this evening on internet companies that offer services to people on a no win no fee basis. The cheapest that I found was someone who charged £250. However the majority of people were charging between 15% and 25% and the is excluding VAT. I was concerned that these firms are supposedly hooking people in and then you think 15% of £1000.00 is £150 excluding vat. So £5000 is £750 excluding VAT.
This is what you lose by not taking on the bank yourself.

Well, get him across to here because one of the services this site does is to do the claim for him. He gets 100% of the money that whoever does the claim gets the costs. No eating in to HIS money.

This is my first and last word on the matter of no win and no fee cos i just read the for information bit at the bottom of the forums. I am a great believer is doing the claim yourself with the support and encouragement of people. I believe that it gives that person a great sense of purpose and a closure to things that may have happened in the past. I DO not agree with no win no fee companies in any shape form or size. However, if someone wants 70% of their money rather than 100% then so be it.
I guess at least we are offering a chance to do it both ways.
Sorry but it is my opinion.
I do not endorse ambualance chasing sites that are 100% about making a profit from their clients, thankfully this site is not all about that which is why i endorse this site 100%. YOU HAVE CHOICE, PERIOD.

I think the point is Nattie, as you have rightly said, is that people have a choice, and it is theirs to make.

Some people have no inclination of taking on the banks themselves, therefore there is a gap in the market to make a quick buck, which is where all these ambulance chasing firms pop up.

I firmly believe, as does everyone, that this site is different. We are offering a choice, for those that want to battle the banks themselves, we have the free to use forum, where advice is offered and people can choose to take it. Or, we offer a paid for service, taking the claim out of that persons hands, and dealing with it all for them, for a fee of course. I would say that the difference between this and other "ambulance chasers" is that we use qualified legal professionals, where I am sure some of the other firms don't and are using staff on minimum wage.

At the end of the day it comes down to choice, and choices are made by individuals, and it is down to the individuals that make these choices to do what is right for them.

            JMO.

                enaid no you are not!

A consumer near Bristol recently used such legal cover to sue B&Q and even though B&Q appealed the consumer won at both trials
