    Hi
Ive had a win this year of over £5000 from barclays (with the help of t'other site)

When i get a new power cable for my printer (thanks to my avatar pup) i will be sending my DPA to barclays and start claiming charges from september last year.

Re: loulou v barclays (round 2)

    Hi some help please,
Whilst i was claiming from barclays last year they cancelled all standing orders and direct debits going from the account and also my connect card and cheque book, i was given an electron card, this was all done without any notice. I have received a letter now threatening me with a bankruptcy order unless i pay them in full, but looking through statements i was within my agreed overdraft and they carried on debiting my husbands loan from the account and also the additions account fee, for each of these that were taken from the account since october last they have charged me £30 per item everytime and they are also charging 25% interest.

Should i start claiming these back or should i send them copies of all the letters and statements showing that they were in the wrong.
I dont know what to do at the moment. I have no problem with making an offer of repayment but i would like to see thhe account adjusted back to within the overdraft limit as i left it not £900 over limit.

Are you saying that they cancelled all standing orders and direct debits apart from their own loan payment? That is a bit naughty. We had similar problem with Lloyds who cancelled my OH's debit card and all dd's and so's but still paid one of their own companies using his out of date debit card number. We have written to LTSB several times and got no sense as yet - as we no longer use the account we are not really bothered apart from the fact that they owe us more than we owe them.

I think I would start claiming them back if they are threatening you with bankruptcy order.

Lou, I think you should send the SAR and then you will be able to see exactly what has happened.
