I have some serious debt in the UK at a quick calculation of some £21,000.
I am now living is SE Asia with my wife and have no links with my homeland as I decided that what was happening after a very bad relationship I could not finance the debts and needed time and space to sort things out.
Howver during my early time in SE Asia I met and married my wife who has no intentions of ever visiting the UK and I now have no intentions of ever returning.
I have heard rumours that one of the creditors whom I owe £12,000 is seeking Bankruptcy.
My question(s) are
A ... As I am now non resident in the UK, although a UK citizen can the creditor make me Bankrupt
B ... Should the creditor attempt this could I ask for the hearing in my now country of residence (I know that it needs to be under English Law)
C ... Can they take any enforcement action in my new homeland.
