right, i have an issue with london borough of camden.

basically, i have paid half (£618) in january and they have now issued a summons for wednesday.

what i need to know is, what are my options from here? i'm guessing ive proved that i am willing to pay (by paying half in jan), do i go to court and make an offer to pay monthly? is it necessary i go to court?

any advice greatly received!

have you first tried contacting the council collections department and make an offer of monthly payments?
sometimes they will accept that and you do not need to attend court although there can be costs added to the bill..

they should be able to advise you, unless someone more qualified than me can offer better advice (im still pretty much a novice at this)

First, you should have to negotiate the collection department, if they are willing don,t need to hire the expert for negotiation. if your effort do not work then hire expert to bring things in order for you. I hope you will get through at this level.
Sometime, you lack points which your which your adviser(expert) highlights and will get through this in a good way.
