Hi all,

As mentioned in other thread, my business partner faces bankruptcy.

Does anybody on here know if it's possible to do an IVA yourself? or does this have to be done by a practitioner?

also, if we apply for an interim order (on the basis we plan a creditors iva meeting), does anybody know how these work? i.e, how do you apply for one? how long do you get etc?

The Offical recivers office helpline is worth a call, you should try and IVA with your creditors asap.

An IVA cannot be done by yourself to the best of my knowledge. It is part of a formal insolvency process, and thus has formal regulations and procedures.

The only informal route is a DMP.
