Hi all just looking advice for a friend .He had a small business ,but due to health problems his business failed, and he was left with debts, he was declared bankrupt about four months ago ,went he was at the meet with the receiver he told this person about his health problems ,which was heart failure ,because of his condition ,he can only walk short distance and need a car to get about ,which cost him £700 ,he is also on DLA ,On Friday he received a letter from the receiver ask him if he real need the car and could he get a letter from his doctor explaining why .

Unfortunately, these peolple have heard every story in the sob book;
they are hardened.

Please, obtain the letter from your GP, as required

If his doctor is up to date with his health condition I can see no reason why the doctor would not supply him with a signed letter detailing his condition.

I have obtained these in the past for my self he can also contact the DWP at Blackpool and get a copy of any medical records they hold there is no fee for this.
