Bankruptcy

Hi guys
I’m looking at possible bankruptcy for my debt problems that I have struggled with for many many years. I currently send £44 to my parents on a weekly basis. Will this be deemed by a official receiver as none legitimate and order it to be stopped.

The bankruptcy has not been filed as yet, I just wanted advice on my payments to family. This is a financial help given to my mum on a weekly. Sorry if it seems vague it really isn’t. It’s as simple as, I and my brother give a family member money weekly to help her out financially
