Breakdown of costs.

Are these correct, I've had them sent in the post.

there are two fines, although I'm struggling to have one dealt with, it was a bus lane infringement and the video shows everybody driving in it to avoid an obstruction but the council won't accept that?

The bus lane one says £407 outstanding.

£97 debt £75 compliance £235 enforcement.

the parking ticket one says £422 outstanding.

£112 debt £75 compliance £235 enforcement.

please help.

The £75 compliance fee and £235 enforcement fee are bailiff charges ... £75 is charged as soon as the bailiffs are handed your 'case', £235 is then added when they have visited your property.

Have you received any letters prior to this?

If they are both being enforced at the same time then the £75 Compliance Fee may be charged in each case but only 1 Enforcement Fee of £235.

they are trying to enforce at the same time so should I contact them regards this and get the 235 knocked off?

Is your query in connection with your previous thread here? If so, I note that you have two debts with different enforcement companies and representing different local authorities. If so, then yes....the fees charged of £235 for each debt would be correct.

If the debts are for the SAME local authority then a complaint could be made that both debts should have been sent to the same enforcement company so as to ensure that 'multiple' fees were avoided.

If the debts are for the SAME local authority then a complaint could be made that both debts should have been sent to the same enforcement company so as to ensure that 'multiple' fees were avoided.

In which case as Milo stated, complain, as only one fee should apply on the enforcement. Letter to CEO and Council Leader might be an option. What bailiff company is this?

It depends, if the debtor pays for both warrants t the same time, then only one Enforcement fee (£235.00) is applicable, but if the debtor asks to pay them separately, then the Enforcemnt fee is payable on both.
