  • road traffic TMA non payment I know nothing about

I received a ENFORCEMENT AGENT REMOVAL NOTICE ordering me to pay a £392 fine, from Rossendales I had a parking fine 12 months ago but wrote to Sefton council to dispute it and heard no more from them, now this? Im fuming as this is an error, somebody at the council office has been incompetent surely. I wouldn't ever leave this to grow and as far as I was concerned it was dealt with..?

What does the Rossendales letter say? Are you sure this is for the Sefton council fine?

You need to write to Rossendales telling them that the debt is being disputed, and asking for a breakdown of what fees have been added to date. And also write to Sefton council asking why you haven't heard back regarding your dispute.

I'm sure you will get lots of help and advice from the knowledgeable Beagles soon

Thanks K for quick response. Letter is a removal notice, has Sefton as client at top of letter . Rossendales claim they will re attend my property on 13/3/2015 and may remove goods even in my absence. This will occur additional costs of £110 plus disbursements for which I will be liable. I am so angry about this I would never ever allow a fine to get out of hand like this! The letter says I cannot pay by instalments etc. I have no intention of making payments for this at all! Not at fault here surely? Can I take them to court? I don't claim benefits, an a supply teacher with 2 dependants and irregular wages.
Thanks K appreciate your help here

Move the car several streets away.

        Do not let them in.

          Is your car on HP/finance?

You must contact the Council NOW the bailffs will carry on with their actions unless the Council tells them to stop. Unless you sort this they will try for their fees and the fine as the Law allows the are until its stopped by the Council acting legally refusing to pay is not an option
