    Re: baliff advice needed

2 of those were being dealt with by the old Regulations - the one passed on 19/9/13 - and will be subject to now being dealt with by the Transitional Regulations. The one passed on 21/11/14 will be dealt with solely by the new Regulations. It would appear from what you have been given that only £289-06 has been passed on to the Council from what you have paid - do you have any records that show payments you have actually made.

Their comment about payment details is for now sufficient but if the Bailiffs get obstructive then they will have to act to give you that information. The Liability order that is subject to the Walking Possession Agreement is still subject to the old Regulations only. It is very important you find the Agreement so we can see what goods are listed as the chances are they will have included exempt items or those of no or little value.

Are you aware if there were any Orders that pre-dated those above that may have been paid off?

I don't have any proof as such,as I've always played at the office and just been given a paper receipt, which stupidly,I've thrown away after a while.
I think there have been previous arrangements, that have been paid,as I remember having dealings with them over seven years ago

Let's see what comes back then if anything. It may mean having to submit a Subject Access Request to the Council £10 but some do it for free. This is another reason for involving your local Councillor(s) as they may be able to gain further info for you.

If you have continued to pay the old agreement without any issues I would continue you with that and ask why they want you to do another. Pay as normal but play for time. They may realise when they get your letter asking for a breakdown of fees that somehing is up and may become a bit more careful.

Had an unevenful meeting with the baliffs today, they wont accept my offer of continuing to pay 40 a month, they say they cant accept less than 80...but left saying there is no arrangement in place at the moment but i have until the end of the month to speak to the council and arrange something with them. I've had no response to the letter I've sent them as of yet. Theres a difference of information though, council saying theres 3 liability orders, baliffs saying there's 4,also the amounts differ between the two
