Expired Warrant Bailiff still turning up

Hi there,

I spoke to the TEC this morning and they told me the Warrant of Control had expired. I asked for this to be sent to me in an email which it was.

Later on this morning I return home to find a Bailiff letter through the door.

Am I correct in thinking that this is wrong as there is no valid warrant in force?

Thank you I had come across that already actually but I didn't know if it was an old version - pre April 2014, I also don't know which system my case is being processed in...pre or post April 2014. Regardless there is no valid warrant as the TEC have confirmed so I suppose that means the Bailiffs are powerless to do anything?

Are you sure no extension has been granted? This is not uncommon.

How much is the debt?

I asked if an extension had been granted and the TEC said no.

This is what was sent to me from the council when my breakdown of fee request was claimed to have not reached the bailiffs either by post or email despite having received a confirmation email from them after sending it -



I have not seen, spoken to or signed anything.

Thanks - It looks pretty much as you say to me, but I've emailed a real expert to ask if they can come and take a look. They may not get on tonight, but should hopefully be in soon for you.

I have just read a very interesting thread sent to me from another forum. For the record Jennak I was doing my best to help you, I am not unstable.

You have stated clearly your intention of where you intend to post, so I will email the expert and tell them not to bother trying to make time to look in.

I wish you luck in getting your issue resolved, just be wary of what you believe - I'm not the raving lunatic they will lead you to believe, I am nobody's lackey and I would NEVER put you in touch with people who were going to make things worse for you. I developed an interest in bailiffs as a result of having four LO's against me, receiving disgusting treatment from bailiffs and the council, and reaching a successful out of court settlement with them. For your sake, go carefully, and good luck.
