Not sure the debt was sold, but a financial company was involved in trying to get the debt so I believe it may have been passed onto, not sure if it was sold of if the company was paying them to get the money.

He's looking into this further Monday. Unfortunately it's not easy to do things over the weekend as most places are shut. It's my mates busiest time of the year this year in business, it's the peak season and I have a feeling this company knew this. Afterall the item he purchased was silage wrap and also hay twine for making hay bails. So even though he purchased the items last season, it's only now gone to bailiffs and stuff just near the start of this hay/silage making season. He's a contractor.

Is it possible to post up the Notice of Enforcement and the other documentation please (remove personal details and reference numbers).

Would your friend consider coming on here himself, as obviously he's dealing with a solicitor and you're trying to help him on here? It's easier dealing with the person directly if possible. Does he know you're on here doing this?

Will look forward to paperwork being posted up and the result of a CCJ search.
