  • Police suspend joint 'bailiff' / police ANPR operations

A much welcomed announcement attached below. It leaves the police in a very difficult position as they clearly recognise the questionable legality of what they have been doing which has resulted in people having their cars removed and others being arrested unlawfully.

It is definitely a 'watch this space' issue as people realise just how far things have gone in the Enforcement Industry where even the police are assisting them in unlawful activities.

This follows a lengthy debate over past months and a series of FOI's which was worse than drawing teeth to get the requisite information from the police about these operations.
