      Re: bailiff wanting their fees in full

      And the bailiff still insisted on payment of fees and fine? If he has been shown proof the fine has been paid, he knows very well only the fees can be collected. The court staff appear to be helpful. Which court is it, please?

      Also, which bailiff firm is involved -

      a. Collectica;
      b. Excel;
      c. Marstons;
      d. Proserve/Swift?

              I've seen an FSN they have wrongly-issued on another thread. If they issue a warrant in that case, the court staff could be in a lot of trouble as the case was withdrawn by the CPS. You need to contact the court asap.

                  Hoping you may still be up and around - Have you moved house since the fine was registered?

                    Good point, Wombats, but bear in mind the Greater Manchester Accounts and Enforcement Unit has been shown to be incompetent by issuing a Further Steps Notice to someone whose case was dropped altogether. Its on another thread. My own policy is "If in doubt, check it out."

                      Wot do u suggest my next course of action be ? Go to the courts who issued the fine ? In the mean time can the bailiff still enter my property if I'm not there ?

                            o my days think me going to ask this site for payment ;
                            MY ADVICE lock doors and open all windows if it gets hot and tell the bailiff to depart as he not getting in legally or if you can afford to pay my costs to get to you we will have a date
                            and no cost involved
                            is this Marstons as I will take on all cases free

                              You need to tell the court the bailiff is trying to enforce a fine that has already been paid and acting in an unreasonable manner. It would appear the Greater Manchester Accounts & Enforcement Unit have made a potentially-serious error by issuing a Further Steps Notice to someone where the case was withdrawn by the CPS and never even took place. Given that you are dealing with Greater Manchester Accounts & Enforcement Unit, don't rule out a cock-up by them.
