hi do not let the bailiff in your house if he trys to gain entry to your home use reasonable false to stop him and if that means using a milk bottle over the head to stop him so be it if he is bigger than you someone indeed did this and it was proved that the bailiff should not have his foot in the door they have no rights to gain entry unless you let them in

You have no contract with the bailiff

can you explain what the fine was and if this is with bailiff fees and can you get confirmation of your redirection of post
the above advice with regards to hit on de head Quote Must be reasonable so if he or she enters a foot in your home warn then first after 3 and count allowed one two three and let them have it

          Hello
If it was collected by a scrap dealer then it there duty to send the papers off to the DVLA

Did theses fees accumulate due to not having correct address and did you receive any final notice from any court and if so what court and if any court issued an order what did it say

if you have not got a warrant /order ask the bailiff to furnish you with a copy or tell Him/Her to bring it to the court that issued it and you may be able to ask the court to look at it again as you are not liable and seems you been found guilty with out a trial

Re: Help please collectica hmrc fine

Was the original notice of action due to having no tax before the car was collected and was it timed once the scappie signs the paperwork no doubt it went onto a lorry
If it was seen on the road before they arrived to collect we have to presume the offence was committed.
The fine will probably stand its the fees that need sorting if possible Other members should be able to help

Re: Help please collectica hmrc fine

as I said do you hold proof of address redirection and were the fees after this
if you don't let him in he or she don't get paid so just tell the bailiffs to go away and it will go back to the clerk who sent them round and you can pay the fine not the fee don't be scared of the bailiffs there plastic police men

Re: Help please collectica hmrc fine

Yes it was seen by a dvla van who clamped it and stuck a sticker on .. I would have had to pay to un clamp the car or just let the dvla lorry take it which is what I did cause car was a write off I don't mind paying the fine if I'm in the wrong just need to get back on track and get the bailiff fines dealt with

Re: Help please collectica hmrc fine

OK so ignore bailiff and contact the court to carry in paying the fine .. I just need to find out how much I still owe on the fine not the fees

Re: Help please collectica hmrc fine

hang on a minute the car was taken by default so where the fine come from the dvla agent should have notified them if he scrap the car this getting good

Re: Help please collectica hmrc fine

ask the dvla don't contact the court at the moment I don't think any warrant has been signed just yet by any magistrate you are dealing with a clerk I would suggest the car was clamped for no tax you did not pay the release and it was taken at this point you need not do anything as who ever took the car should have informed them it off road when you say it was smashed up was it the insurance recovery that left it on the road
