Re: URGent help needed Bristow and Suitor please
I tried to reply at 3am this morning, but the bailiff section disappeared from my computer totally - the tab at the top was not there. However, if you wish to seek help elsewhere, that is of course your choice. Good luck with your issue, I know it was fairly serious from reading it in the early hours.Originally posted by Bunnyface View Post26 views and not one reply? Thanks for the help.
You may also need to remember that bailiffs are quite a specialised area, and while people may look, they may not have the knowledge to answer your issue. It's better IMO not to have any replies than be following poor or incorrect advice. :tinysmile_twink_t2:

Re: URGent help needed Bristow and Suitor please
I have reported the disappearance of the Bailiff forum tab, Wombats. I expect Amethyst or Tools are working their socks off right now trying to get it back, though, I did offer to form a search party to go look for it.

Re: URGent help needed Bristow and Suitor please
I'm sorry about my outburst, I am incredibly stressed out trying to deal with these people.
The baliffis have said I have until 4.30pm today to come up with £2800 or they will take my car. He came to my house yesterday and stayed outside for an hour even though I told him to take the cr as I had no money. The agreement was set in place in December when they wanted £500 per month which at the time I too then I couldn't afford, so I have been paying £50 every month through their automated system. He arrived last Wednesday demanding the full amount and then arrived back yesterday. Yesterday he state for an hour outside my house ad kept trying to get in through the front door. I have a 3 year old and I couldn't leave the house to take him to nursery.
I have tried calling the office but they said I need to speak to the agent who is not willing to budge. I really need my car but if they take it and this is over then so be it.
i really hate these people, they are such bullies!
Thankyou

He just will not negotiate at all! I have been diligently paying the £50 a month but he says it isn't good enough and wants the full balance. I'm not eating and not sleeping, I feel bad that my 3 year old is having to go through this.

Good that the council have taken the debt back into their administration.
However, it does look as if the council concerned need to review their contract with B & S. The behaviour of B & S and their bailiff is unacceptable.
It may be worth you speaking to your MP about the behaviour of B & S and ask them to take it up with Eric Pickles, who is Secretary of State at the Department for Communities and Local Government. DfCLG have issued guidelines to local authorities about the use of civil enforcement companies. Make sure you mention what the council did in your case. The idea is not to castigate the council, as they have acted responsibly in recalling the debt to their administration, but to establish whether other local councils have experienced similar issues with B & S and if there is a case to stop B & S from tendering for local authority contracts.Life is a journey on which we all travel, sometimes together, but never alone.

I have written a letter to the council telling them my concerns that he wouldn't let me take my son to nursery and that he sat on the bonnet of my car for an hour smoking (of which I have pictures)
they really are a disgrace!

Wales... please don't insult a***holes - they are useful. The bailiff in the OP's case is about as much use as a one-legged man in an arse-kicking contest. :grin:Originally posted by wales01man View PostWell done that's got the Ahole out of your faceLife is a journey on which we all travel, sometimes together, but never alone.
