  • Council tax and Bailiffs

    hi all,
I just had the bailiffs around for unpaid council tax, this is the second time they have been this year the first time(2wks ago) they listed my car but this time as car is not on the property they have put a letter through the door stating they will be returning on the 14th at 3pm to "force entry and remove goods", both times i have phoned the council straight away and the last time they said they would return the debt and i could pay them this time however because of the bailiffs fees(£192 and £179) they said they could not and i would have to pay the bailiff directly? this is a nightmare because i am recently unemployed and struggling to pay mortgage ...please help!!
