I have today received this after missing only the 1st payment on my fine that i set up in july. I just totally forgot to pay on my card. I will be able to pay 100 next friday and up my paymeny from 20 to 25 a week from them after. If i call the court will they let me do this and not take any more action as its just one payment wiych i can pay off in 6 days?

Contact the Fines Officer at the court and explain the situation. You should hopefully be allowed the time to pay. If they agree, then ensure you get this agreement in writing.
The Further Steps Notice (sometimes now called a Collection Order) should specify an amount which you MUST pay to bring the account up to date and avoid one of the range of actions listed on it (usually it will be passed to bailiffs).
You need to be aware that if you get away with it this time, there is no obligation for the court to issue another FSN for the life of the fine, so make sure you don't forget again! :beagle:
