On sept 10-2013 a Removal Notice from a Marston Enforcement Officer was put in my letterbox saying <amount now due £515.>
This was due to a fine issued to me back in early 2012 for late filing of accounts.the case was first heard in Cardiff Magistrates Court and I received a fine of £215.Long story/short,I did not pay.
Since receiving Removal Notice,I done some research/made some enquiries,
Cardiff Magistrates Court passed this on to Poole Magistrates Court,of this I had no knowledge until yesterday, only finding out after a few phone calls. The most unhelpful man at Poole magistrates court eventually told me a further steps notice was issued July 2012 and a Distress Warrant June 2013, of either of these I have no knowledge that I recall.I offered to drive to Poole today (160 mile round trip) to pay,mr unhelpful says I cannot do so, I ask to be transferred to someone that can maybe help, he put me through to a payment line.
A very helpful lady took my payment of £215 over the phone, this I could do via the reference number I was given by another very helpful lady from Cardiff Magi court yesterday. (I seem to have a thing with the ladies).
The question I need advice on is,how do I stand with Marston and the £300 pound they want for shoving a note through my letterbox.?
