Right! I just remembered this response to a Freedom of Information request which may reinforce an argument against the charge. Milton Keynes stated that its bailiff contractors where only permitted to apply the Head H fee "where goods have been physically removed from the debtor’s premises".Originally posted by labman View PostOutlawgo, this poster may be you under a slightly different name, but the following thread may be of interest:

The extent to which councils have been duped by their bailiff contractors into believing the Head H charge is a perk of the job is contained in these couple of documents; 1 and 2
