That is not even being attempted, as only a tiny fraction of all the bailiffs in the UK will ever feature here. Most of their colleagues seem to be competent and most seem to limit any untruths they may utter. It has even not been unknown for some bailiffs to treat debtors with courtesy and respect.

But when that does not seem to have happened, oughtn't we to say so?

What were the bailiffs enforcing for, as this could also affect the seriousness of the breach, and also Beagles can help with the onging problem so you can sort it

I know of many who refer to members of you and BBs ex-profession using a similar palate of adjectives.
Many of whom are similarly, "officers of the court" of course.

            Just a thought

Ex CAB advice worker, and a local Community Councillor at present, as well as a board member on a housing provider. I am very concerned as are my colleagues regarding the inevitable increase in bailiff shenanigans on the back of the benefit changes, and people being faced with paying council tax for the first time, or more towards it as Universal Credit replaces tax credits. One council jumped the gun and went for mass LOs on the back of the benefit changes. I find most plod where I am to be reasonable and keen to do their job correctly, they hate unfairness, and when I reported a bailiff incident with a vulnerable person to them as a bogus official report, they made sure his day went downhill very rapidly

Ah sorry it was the name the threw me "Bizzy" (or BIzeee as our scouse friends say)and "Bob" as in Bobby.
A consequence of doing to many crossword puzzles no doubt. Done a bit for the cab myself over the years.

That in itself is sufficient to initiate the Formal Complaint to CEO, Leader, local member and copy to MP, as the bailiff has firked up, seriously enough for you to have no faith or trust in him, so you will pay the council direct at the rate of £xxc per week direct to them, as they cannot lawfully refuse your payment, there is no law to compel you to deal with a bailiff especially one whose company you have reported to ICO for serious data protection breaches.

You therefore require them to remove the account from the bailiff for which they are 100% liable jointly and severally with by vicarious liability for the breach of DPA, otherwise they will be complicit and part of the ICO complaint.

                        Worth a punt IMHO

Trouble is, Cloggy, the ones that do treat debtors with courtesy and respect and comply with the law in every respect account for only 1% of all certificated bailiffs. This 1% make a good living and are very successful. That to me says an awful lot about the other 99% whose transgressions we get to hear about on LB.
