Imho, there's nothing wrong with a bit of banter (not that you'd ever catch me participating ), but i think we've got to be a little more considerate towards the OP, who is living the problem for real.CAVEAT LECTOR

Re: Bailiff Threads
Keeping the name calling and other stuff away from threads to aioid distraction from the main purpose of the tread, that being to help the OP with their problem is a good idea.maybe some one on here can get the bailiff companies to put into writing to be published on here and many other sites the rules that they expect their staff to operate under and explain what actions they take against those who as we read allegedly break thes rules. Until I started reading LB I had no real idea how bailiffs and debt collectors worked and what they can an cannot do,if courts and local authorities were more open about how things can progress and costs and actions that can be carried out some will not get into a debt so deep where charges are so high and the stress they have affects their health.

Yet, intended or not, you invariably succeed.
Nope I had an issue with Eloise, and the site team thought that the forum would be better suited if she remained and I left, the site team were as it turns out wrong.
I can fully understand your embarrassment about the matter and Inca's since, you were taken in more heavily than most.
Hanging onto the coat tails of other more vocal posters seems to be a trait you both have in common, it is probably IMO a consequence of you having no original ideas or input of your own to contribute.
Re the personal remarks CC i would stick to them, playing the fool suits you far better than trying to enter into intelligent discourse, where you are completely out of your depth.

Re: Equita Bailiffs and a PCN - Distraught newbie seeking help
Hi, if you go on youtube, look up parking tickets etc. theres a guy under the user name of 61shirley. he's had many dealings with the council and is very helpful. if you watch and get in touch he will send you the letter templates apparently.. the bbc are filming a documentary on councils/parking tickets and he will be in it, as hes been asking for people local to him on FB with a pcn, as they want to film it from start to finish dealing with the council and bailiffs.

If you peel away a lot of the gloss and BS local authorities and some police officers apply to some laws, you will find that the interpretation they put on it is not what Parliament intended. One thing I have learned over the years - A law is only enforceable if the courts rule it to be so.
Some courts, particularly the lower criminal courts, will blindly interpret laws as gospel and not be shifted from that belief, only for a higher court to tell them they are wrong.Life is a journey on which we all travel, sometimes together, but never alone.
