Who were you speaking to at the court? It doesn't sound like the words of the Senior Enforcement Manager to me. As already stated, ask for the relevant legislation / change to legislation. I would not believe that until I saw it.

I agree with you, LM. Criminal Procedures Rules are quite clear about FSNs. Whilst the Macrae case means that a correctly-issued Distress Warrant will not normally be recalled, HMCTS have the right to recall them at any time for any reason they see fit.

As it is "Public Debt" ie: to the state, it cannot ever be sold, assigned or transferred permanently out of HMCS control, as consumer debts can be sold to bottom feeding DCAs like Muck Hall or Snotcall

As too the the Bailiffs (Make It Up As You Go) Regulations 2009 As dictated by the Brothers Grimm & edited by Rumpelstiltskin, latest amendments to bring it in line with the Alice in Wonderwall Bailiff Fees chargeable Regulations, added by Lewis Carroll 2010 they can be treated as a fairytale beleived in only by bailiffs, the Fairy GodBailiff if you like. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
