The man at the council has broken the law by refusing to accept a payment. You can make payments directly to the council. also I find on the Citizens Advice web "how to apply to change a court order"I downloads the form but to complete this I need name of court,claim no.,warrant no claimants name,defendants name so I can't complete this because I have't any liability order or summons

I've had some dealings with those Church Road council counter staff.
They are insistent on referring back to the bailiffs.
But I have read somewhere that, if they refuse to accept payment, you should get a letter signed by them to show they have refused.CAVEAT LECTOR

I contact the just JBW and request them for sending me copy of reminder notices from council and summonses,they said I have to contact the council for this but I have letter from council dated 06.June 2013 where they write;PLEASE NOTE THAT REMINDER NOTICES AND SUMMONSES WERE SENT FROM THIS OFFICE PRIOR TO THE DEBT APPOINTED TO THE BAILIFFS.THE ACCOUNT IS WITH THE APPOINTET BAILIFFS JBW AND I UNDERSTAND THAT AN ARRANGEMENT HAS BEEN SENT FOR YOU TO PAY £100.00 MONTHLY DIRECTLY TO THE BAILIFFS.PLEASE KEEP TO THIS ARRANGEMENT IN ORDER TO AVOID FURTHER RECOVERY ACTION.I HAVE SENT A COPY OF YOUR LETTER TO JBW IN RELATION THE POINTS RAISED CONCERNING THE BAILIFFS VISIT FOR THEM TO ADDRESS THE MATTER DIRECTLY TO YOU..
