I agree - if the OP was indeed a troll then they need to understand that we may differ in our opinions about matters, but that there is a reason why we all hang out here together, and we won't ever fall out over them. Different perspectives are what makes the site real, and what Labman (for example) may offer in his special area of expertise means that he may see something that I don't, whilst I see something that he doesn't, and you see something neither of us do.

Of course, on the rare occasions when we all think the same way - then it is either really great news or really bad news!

It's gonna get even better now the criteria of carparking have changed.
We parked down by the sea yesterday,,popped my Badge up,and had a random woman start ranting at us how outrageous it now is that Badge holders now have to pay to park !! Rob graciously pointed out that tax exempt vehicles (like mine) don't have to,nor do those who have contacted their local councils for a 'parking pass'.
She then launched a personal attack on the legitimacy of my Badge and tax exemption because she could not see how I warranted a Badge as my only physical signs of disability is a smashed up face!!!
T'was a joyous moment when Rob got my wheelchair out of the boot and got me out of the car.People like her could make people like me cry,,but they are not worth the effort,I feel useless enough as it is.
Oh,,and FYI.........Drs cannot authorise the issue of Badges,,they can write a letter but it aint that simple.

Have you seen the Michael McIntyre sketch on Disabled Parking Spaces? It's hilarious. I bet you felt some real satisfaction when you got in that wheelchair - it's amazing how often the badges are questioned mind, it's been an eye opener for me since I got mine. As for the abuse of disabled parking spaces / mother and toddler spaces etc... don't get me going on that.

The old ParkingBod down our local Sainsburys is desperate to catch us out,,every time we pull into a bay,,he's there..waiting msl:...so I wait + wait and plonk the badge up at the last possible second,,it's a childish game of wits and I HAVE to win,,regardless how long it takes,,I have to beat him .
