    Re: Marstons Bailiffs

Good luck with your appeal ,thats how the justice system quite rightly works.Iwould hope that if your fined again you will pay it and will never have to deal with bailiffs.i would not condone anyone who has no ticket or warrant to travel ,i feel that you may have brought some of the problem on yourself.
Win or lose make this a lesson learnt

perhaps of you would care to read my posts again you will notice this time that i have placed that at no time was I suggesting that you have DONE any of the things I mentioned Lach.

The sad fact is, that the things I have mentioned do happen.

You have asked about the use of the CCTV evidence for being approached by the RPI, hopefully you will not take offence of think my comments sweeping when I advise that under a normal circumstance, the CCTV footage is not kept for more than about 2 months (roughly) except in case of a problem (ie assault, theft, security threat) so if your problem is more than about 3 months old, and there were no issues mentioned about, then I am afraid you probably wont have the footage to help you.

not unless he fancied a few BIIIIIIIIIIIIIG train drivers returning the compliment msl:

Just a quick aside, if you are ever on a train platform and her a whistle blown 3 times in quick sucsession and it is taken up by a few whistles, stand back from the platform edge, this is an alarm cry and you are liable to get knocked over by staff rushing to someone's aid.

Back to topic though, I will gladly check with some former workmates on SWT and see how long they keep their CCTV footage if the op wishes.

've been told to appeal the decision, and the court has put the bailiffs on hold for four weeks.

When did that happen?? I was under the impression you were waiting for an imminent bailiff visit to cough up money
